Losi XX rear toe explained

Losi XX rear toe explained…

Now people are trying to run the xx on high grip surfaces like carpet and astro there are alot of questions about reducing the rear toe of the losi xx. Here is a short guide to hopefully answer some questions and show what is available to help you tune your car.

Basics, there are 2 rear ends for a losi xx, the standard xx outboard toe one piece part, the pivot is 0 Deg and the hubs are 3.5deg standard.

The xxcr is 3 degree inboard toe 2 piece part with 0 Deg standard hubs.

From losi you could get 1 Deg cr hubs (these are the 2 or 3 hole cr hubs but with a dot under the hinge pin hole to mark the 1 Deg toe)

And you could get 2.5deg xx hubs (they are the larger 5 hole hubs with 2 dots under the hinge pin hole)

The great thing with the xx is that the xx and xxcr hubs are totally interchangable. For example on my carpet xx I have the xx 0deg pivot with 1 Deg cr hubs to give a total of 1 Deg toe, much more suited to carpet racing.

It’s been difficult for many people to find the 1deg cr hubs so Paul Lomas of VRS Vintage Running Spares has kindly designed some so everyone gets a chance to try them, he has also made a new 2 degree option so even more tuning options are available.

I hope this has helped
